ALUXE was founded in 2010 by Ger van Ommeren and Leon Vermeulen in Lelystad, the Netherlands.
Its first verandas were manufactured here by hand to the highest quality standards. We have retained this way of working ever since.
Standing still is not an option. Our portfolio soon became so extensive that we had to start looking for a new production facility.
The site of REDSUN GmbH & Co KG in Kevelaer on the Lower Rhine offered the best possible conditions for this.
Ger van Ommeren’s family business manufactures high-quality concrete and ceramic floor coverings and imports natural stone from all over the world. We have been based here since 2010 and the site meets all our requirements 100%. The increasing demand for glass roofs made it necessary to establish a separate glass cutting area in 2015, so that all the work is now carried out under one roof and in our own production facility, with the “Made in Germany” guarantee. We are very proud of this. Last but not least, our new office building and a new show garden were opened in 2019.
The high quality of our products is clearly the result of the professional expertise and conscientiousness of our employees.
We only employ specialists in their field. From planning and development to material processing. Over the years, we have grown considerably in terms of personnel – and ALUXE now employs almost 150 people. Many of them have been a part of ALUXE for years.
